The class is suitable for all yoga levels. She is humbled and grateful to share the power of yoga and mindfulness with us, as she has with hundreds of middle school students seeking calm amidst the tremendous pressures of growing up in today’s society. To date, Carla has completed her 200-hour yoga teacher certification, children’s yoga 95-hour teacher certification, and is registered with the National Yoga Alliance for both areas of yoga. She has earned a MBSR-T certification, (mindfulness-based stress reduction for teens) and has attended a multitude of trainings and classes in yoga and mindfulness. Over the next few months, she will be finishing her required hours for a certification and will receive the honor to register with the National Yoga Alliance as a Prenatal and Postnatal yoga teacher (RPYT). For Carla, this is just the beginning of a lifelong commitment to learning, practicing and sharing yoga with schools, families and friends in yoga.
