We are partnering with the Black River Outdoor Education Program (BROEP) in Boonville, NY, for a hike, snowshoe and cross country ski on the Jackson Hill Trails near Boonville and hope you can join us! Cross-country skis, boots, poles, and snowshoes are available free of charge for those not bringing their own equipment. BROEP can also supply snow pants, ski boots, hats, mittens, and more. Landowners, Cary Fassler and Deb Kahkejian will lead us along this moderate three mile hike of their trail system. You’ll experience forestland, rolling meadows, and wetlands that are home to a variety of wildlife on this 970-acre Land Trust property, protected by THTLT.
