Whooo Wants to Prowl for Owls February 9, 20196:30 pm - 8:00 pm « Black River Forest Ski or Snowshoe Day Winter “Pick Me Up” Snowshoe Hike » FREE: Family Event Night-time is the right time to look for these amazing birds of prey, and you can join Tug Hill Tomorrow Land Trust (THTLT) and the North Country Bird Club as we go on an owl prowl. If you love birds and are looking for an excuse to get outside, this is the perfect hike for you. The outing is free and open to the public. Plan to meet in the parking lot at 31270 Middle Road, in Rutland, NY. Look for the large wildlife sanctuary sign that is in front of the parking lot entrance, as well as our THTLT logo sign. Bring along a flashlight or headlamp, dress for the weather, and wear sturdy boots or shoes. If there is enough snow, and you have them, you are welcome to use snowshoes. THTLT will bring some snacks and extra water for participants. Register Here!
