Boonville, Oneida County
Bob and his wife, Carol, moved from Saratoga County, NY to Boonville, NY, where they currently reside. They enjoy the rural life, gardening, hiking, snowshoeing, and X/C skiing. Bob is a volunteer pilot for LightHawk, and still works part time as a flight instructor. Before retiring, he worked for the Social Security Administration for 18 years, and later as a financial consultant.
Bob has been actively involved in his community over the years. He is a member of Trout Unlimited—Tug Hill Black River Chapter, a Commissioner on the Tug Hill Commission, and a member of the Executive Council for North Country Public Radio. Previously, he served as a Council member and Chair of the Black River-St. Lawrence Resource Conservation & Development Council and was a member of the THRIFT (Tug Hill Resources – Investment for Tomorrow) Council.
Bob has been a supporter of THTLT since 1989 when they bought their home near Boonville. He is currently a landowner and donor of four conservation easements in Oneida and Lewis Counties.
