Danielle is currently a Planner with the City of Rome, NY. She holds an M.S. in Environmental Policy and a Master’s International degree through the Bard Center for Environmental Policy and a B.S. in Natural History and Interpretation from SUNY College of Environmental Science and Forestry. While attending graduate school, Danielle served for three years as a Peace Corps Volunteer in Mexico working with the National Commission for Natural Protected Areas (CONANP) as an environmental educator, mostly with rural high school youth. In Mexico she also taught English as a Second Language and organized a Women in Nature event to help provide women in the community with basic knowledge, skills, and experience to try new outdoor activities.
Danielle has a passion for getting people outside, whether it be through work, volunteerism, or encouraging nieces and nephews to look for bugs and salamanders with her. When not at work, Danielle enjoys exploring new hiking and biking trails, visiting friends, family, and neighbors, and exploring and participating in nearby community events.
