Join us on Wednesday, August 5, from 6:00–7:30 p.m. for our next Tug Hill Book & Beverage Club gathering! We’ll be meeting in person in Watertown, with an online option available for those who prefer to join from home. Whether you’re a longtime member or joining us for the first time, we’d love to have you. Our Book & Beverage Club is a welcoming, relaxed group that enjoys thoughtful conversations about books exploring nature, wildlife, environmental issues, natural history, and cultural history—especially topics connected to or relevant to the Tug Hill region. There’s no pressure to attend every meeting or read every book. For each discussion, we suggest two books, and you’re welcome to read one, both, or simply come for the conversation. Participants are responsible for obtaining their own copies in the format they prefer, whether print, ebook, or audiobook. The club meets every other month, alternating between Watertown and Lowville, and every meeting is offered in a hybrid format so everyone can participate in the way that works best for them. Registered participants will receive location details or the online meeting link before the event. Between meetings, keep the conversation going by joining the Tug Hill Book & Beverage Club Facebook Group, where members share book recommendations, discuss current reads, and receive club announcements.
