Bring your own canoe or kayak, or rent what you need. PFDs are required for all.

Our trip will begin and end at the New York State Department of Environmental Conservation (NYSDEC) public fishing parking area in Westdale, located approximately 5 miles northwest of Camden, and about 4.5 miles southeast of Williamstown on Route 13. When you reach Westdale, turn north onto Cemetery Road and look for the DEC parking area on your right.

Tug Hill Outfitters is donating 10% of all equipment rental to Tug Hill Tomorrow Land Trust’s land protection and community programs fund. Solo recreational kayak rentals (13 total) are available for $20 per person. There are also there two tandem (2-person) kayaks, one 2-person canoe, and one 3-person canoe available to rent for $30 each. For families with 3 or more people, boat rentals are $15 each. If renting kayaks, reservations and payment are required in advance of the event. Several Stellar kayaks sit on top will be on hand for those who’d like to demo them at no charge.
