Volunteer Trail Day at the Sanctuary June 5, 202110:00 am - 1:00 pm « Virtual Birding Volunteer Trail Workdays on Tug Hill » Reservations Required Want to lend a hand and get some fresh air? Tug Hill Tomorrow Land Trust invites you to join in a trail maintenance day on Saturday, June 5th, 2021 at the Joseph A. Blake Wildlife Sanctuary, 31827 Middle Road, Rutland from 10:00 am to 1:00 pm in honor of National Trails Day. Families and children are encouraged to attend! Spend 30 minutes, an hour or more with us – all help is appreciated. We’ll be clearing the sanctuary trails of winter debris, picking up litter, and making sure everything is in good condition for hiking. Please wear sturdy boots and comfortable work clothes. Pack a brown bag lunch, water in a reusable bottle, sunscreen, bug dope, and a bee sting kit if appropriate. Bring your favorite loppers and gloves. THTLT will provide extra tools and gloves for volunteers. All skill levels are welcome – we have a lot of work! Trash bags, gloves, water, and snacks will be provided Register here!
