The French Settlement Road PCA’s 125 acres feature old field meadows, mixed hardwood forests, streams, beaver ponds and wetlands that support a wide variety of plants and animals all year long. Historic farmstead sties, stone wall remnants, apple trees and more are evidence of the land’s agricultural past. The land was donated to THTLT by Dr. Marvin Reimer for people to enjoy as a protected nature area. The property’s trails are open dawn to dusk daily for hiking, snowshoeing, cross-country skiing and wildlife observation.
