What’s that Bird? » Family Friendly Event, Reservations Required Join THTLT for a guided walk at Verona State Park looking and listening for woodland owls. We’ll start at 6:00 pm with an overview of common owls found in the area, from the Northern Saw-whet Owl to the Great Horned Owl. Then we’ll take a quiet walk to see if we can see or hear them. Bring along a flashlight or headlamp, dress for the weather, and wear sturdy footwear. If there is sufficient snow cover, you are welcome to use your snowshoes. THTLT has just a couple of pairs of snowshoes available for adults and youth on a first-come, first-served basis – check the box on our registration form and we’ll contact you prior to the outing.
