Trail Biking at Potato Hill Farm August 18, 201910:00 am - 3:00 pm « Salamander Story Hour Geocache Day! » Want to get outside and enjoy every last minute of summer? Come bike the Potato Hill Farm & Trails with Tug Hill Tomorrow Land Trust (THTLT) on Sunday, August 18th from 10:00 am to 3:00 pm. We’re partnering with the Black River Outdoor Education Program (BROEP), who can provide bicycles and helmets for those without their own. There are also trails suitable for strollers and wheelchairs, if you do not wish to bike. Registration is required. The Potato Hill Farm (PHF) campus, located near Boonville, NY, in Oneida County, offers 7.4 miles of hiking, biking and jogging trails across 170 acres of land. Along with the trail system, the site hosts a working farm where visitors can see and visit Black Welsh Mountain sheep, Limousin cattle, Alpine Dairy goats, Percheron horses, alpacas, and donkeys. Public bathrooms and picnic areas are available on grounds. Horse-drawn wagon rides are available by appointment from 2:00 pm to 4:00 pm on Sundays only, weather permitting.
