You can make your own handmade sign to welcome them personally! Kylie Schell will teach the basics of making a painted sign using whitewash or chalkboard backgrounds during a special workshop on Saturday, June 8th, 2019 from 1:00 to 4:00pm in the classroom building at the New York State Zoo, located in Thompson Park, Watertown, NY. Registration is required and space is limited. Class fee is $40.00, and will benefit Tug Hill Tomorrow Land Trust’s conservation and education programs. Class fee does NOT include the zoo’s entrance fee, should you wish to visit the zoo. Make sure and wear your painting clothes, and come have fun! All materials are provided. We’ll also have delicious snacks and beverages, a prize drawing, and door prizes. Kylie Schell is a local school social worker, wife, and mother of three who enjoys being active and crafty.
