Salmon River Falls Snowshoe Walk February 10, 20241:00 pm - 3:00 pm « Forest Park Owl Prowl Hemlock Woolly Adelgid Walk and Talk » Take an easy afternoon walk with us in the fresh air at Salmon River Falls Unique Area near Altmar, NY, on Saturday, February 10th! You can snowshoe if snow cover allows. Snow boots should be fine, though, too. We’ll meet at 1:00 pm in the parking lot on Falls Road to gather, put on snowshoes if needed and then head off onto the wooded trail to the falls. The flat path to the falls overlook is scenic and serene. Whether frozen or bare, in partial or full flow, Salmon River Falls is a beautiful sight.
