Please consider joining us for a paddle in August on either the 11th in Westdale or the 21st in Watertown. See these events listed on our events page. Relax and unwind after work by exploring Whetstone Gulf State Park Reservoir on the night of the full moon with THTLT. This field trip will be led by board member and kayaking enthusiast Janet Thompson. All levels of paddling experience, from beginner to advanced are welcome! Please bring your kayak or canoe, PFD, headlamp, and bug dope. The Land Trust will provide extra water and snacks. Directions: From Houseville on Rt 26, take Houseville Gulf Rd west 3.6 miles. This road starts out paved then turns into a rough dirt road with rocks and potholes. Turn left just past the small bridge at sign that says Whetstone Gulf State Park Reservoir. Launch site is 2/10 of a mile in.
