Come and enjoy a twilight walk and owl prowl in the woods with THTLT on Saturday, April 19th, 7:00 – 8:30 pm at the Joseph A. Blake Wildlife Sanctuary (31241 Middle Road, Watertown, NY), located it the Town of Rutland. Learn about the ways animals are adapted to a low-light lifestyle, look for all types of animal tracks and signs, and look and listen for owls! This is the fourth and final owl prowl in our 2025 series! Our outing will begin in the parking lot with brief introductions. Then we’ll take a walk on the woods trails looking and to listening for owls and other animals/animal signs. Bring along a flashlight or headlamp, dress for the weather, and wear sturdy waterproof boots or shoes. If there is enough snow, and you have them, you are welcome to use snowshoes.
