Black River Forest Hike, Ski or Snowshoe Day January 18, 202010:00 am - 2:00 pm « First Day Hike Whooo Wants to Prowl for Owls » FREE: Thanks to community support We are partnering with the Black River Outdoor Education Program (BROEP) in Boonville, NY, for a hike, snowshoe and cross country ski on the Black River Forest Trails near Forestport and hope you can join us! Cross-country skis, boots, poles, and snowshoes are available free of charge for those not bringing their own equipment. BROEP can also supply snow pants, ski boots, hats, mittens, and more. Everything you need to ski or snowshoe comfortably is available if you need it. All trails are groomed for skiing and snowshoeing. Trained coaches will be on hand to help those new to skiing and snowshoeing learn and have fun. Hot chocolate, coffee, tea and light snacks will be provided. Register Today!
