Blake Wildlife Sanctuary on Friday, February 20th at 5:00 pm. As we enter the forest with our senses alert, we’ll make stops along the way to learn about how nocturnal animals are well-suited to their night-time activities. Registration is required. There is no charge for attendance or parking. Dress for the weather and wear sturdy walking shoes or boots – if there is enough snow, feel free to bring your snowshoes! Bring along a flashlight – we start in the light, but it may be quite dark by the time we return to the parking lot. If you have a red light setting or red filter for your flashlight, it will help to retain our night vision. We’ll have snacks and extra water available for anyone who needs it. Many thanks to our owl prowl series sponsor the Enchanted Edible Forest at Cross Island Farms for their generous support!
