Ducks Unlimited
A national organization that has a loyal following of waterfowl enthusiasts here in Tug Hill. Ducks Unlimited partners with THTLT by securing funds to purchase a conservation easement. The Land Trust then pays DU back after national and state funding has been released.
- Partner with THTLT to apply for grants from the Northern American Wetlands Conservation Act.
- DU protects wetlands and other habitats that are critical to the survival of waterfowl throughout America.
- Currently protect over 13 million acres of wetlands, grasslands, and forests in North America.
