Primary Responsibilities
- Helping lead THTLT through the accreditation process for their third re-accreditation
- Audit conservation easement portfolios to ensure compliance with national legal standards, and prepare for national review
- Manage filing and organizational systems
Past Experience
In addition to working with Tug Hill Tomorrow Land Trust, Rachel spends time working in the Law Office of James M. Brooks in Lake Placid, NY, providing clerical support and shadowing cases on land use and beyond. Rachel owns her own business providing vacation experiences to families and groups in New York and Virginia.
Rachel is applying to Law Schools to study environmental and intellectual property law.
Education
Bachelor of Science in Chemical Engineering with a minor in Engineering Business from the University of Virginia
