David recently retired as CEO of Jefferson County Economic Development, the organization charged with facilitating economic growth in the county through business recruitment and retention, workforce development, and related activities. Prior to that, he served as the Director of Community Development for the NYS Tug Hill Commission—providing grassroots technical assistance to rural communities in the Tug Hill region. Dave has been involved in strategic planning assistance to communities and non-profit organizations, infrastructure development, downtown revitalization, and tourism development and promotion.
He is past president of the Watertown Rotary Club; chair of Advocate Drum; a member of the Adams Revitalization Committee; and member of Six Town Community Fund. He has a Master’s degree in Public Administration from SUNY Brockport.
Dave and his wife Barb live in Adams, where they raised three daughters. Dave is an avid snowshoer and hunter, and enjoys getting outside as much as possible for hikes and relaxation.
