SUMMARY:Sign Making Workshop to Benefit Conservation
DESCRIPTION:Summer visitors coming? You can make your own handmade sign to welcome them personally! Kylie Schell will teach the basics of making a painted sign using whitewash or chalkboard backgrounds during a special workshop on Saturday\, June 8th\, 2019 from 1:00 to 4:00pm in the classroom building at the New York State Zoo\, located in Thompson Park\, Watertown\, NY. \nRegistration is required and space is limited. Class fee is $40.00\, and will benefit Tug Hill Tomorrow Land Trust’s conservation and education programs. Class fee does NOT include the zoo’s entrance fee\, should you wish to visit the zoo. \nMake sure and wear your painting clothes\, and come have fun! All materials are provided. We’ll also have delicious snacks and beverages\, a prize drawing\, and door prizes. \nKylie Schell is a local school social worker\, wife\, and mother of three who enjoys being active and crafty. She began L{IFE} Creations as a creative outlet and it has morphed into a fun side-business. Kylie offers private and public classes as well as custom orders.
