If needed\, BREIA can provide xc-skis\, snowshoes and associated equipment upon request. When registering\, please indicate if you will be using your own equipment\, or of you will need equipment made available for you. DESCRIPTION:  \nCome cross-country ski or snowshoe with Tug Hill Tomorrow Land Trust (THTLT) at the Black River Environmental Improvement Association’s (BREIA) Potato Hill Farm campus near Boonville Saturday\, December 10th from 10 am to 2 pm. The outing will be dependent upon adequate snowfall. Participants are welcome to use their own skis or snowshoes. If needed\, BROEP can provide xc-skis\, snowshoes and associated equipment upon request free for up to 40 people. \nThe Potato Hill Farm campus in Oneida County\, offers over four miles of well-maintained trails across 170 acres of land. Trails are primarily easy\, with an area of moderate trails for those who like more of a challenge. Public bathrooms are available on grounds. \nPotato Hill Farm is located on the left 2.4 miles up Potato Hill Road (County Route 74)\, from NYS 12 south of Boonville. SUMMARY:Trail Biking at Potato Hill Farm
DESCRIPTION:Want to get outside and enjoy every last minute of summer? Come bike the Potato Hill Farm & Trails with Tug Hill Tomorrow Land Trust (THTLT) on Sunday\, August 18th from 10:00 am to 3:00 pm. We’re partnering with the Black River Outdoor Education Program (BROEP)\, who can provide bicycles and helmets for those without their own. There are also trails suitable for strollers and wheelchairs\, if you do not wish to bike. Registration is required. \nThe Potato Hill Farm (PHF) campus\, located near Boonville\, NY\, in Oneida County\, offers 7.4 miles of hiking\, biking and jogging trails across 170 acres of land. Along with the trail system\, the site hosts a working farm where visitors can see and visit Black Welsh Mountain sheep\, Limousin cattle\, Alpine Dairy goats\, Percheron horses\, alpacas\, and donkeys. Public bathrooms and picnic areas are available on grounds.
