SUMMARY:2026 First Day Forest Outing
DESCRIPTION:Join us in greeting the new year with some fresh air and a casual First Day Forest Outing on Thursday\, January 1\, 2026! We’ll meet at 11:00 am at Tug Hill Tomorrow Land Trust’s Joseph A. Blake Wildlife Sanctuary\, 31241 Middle Rd\, Watertown (Town of Rutland) and enjoy a leisurely walk\, ski and/or snowshoe on the trails of your choice. Stay with our guide or head off on your own. Well behaved dogs on leashes are welcome to come along\, too. There are no parking or attendance fees. \nWe’ll have some light refreshments to enjoy on-site or take home with you. Dress for the weather\, wear sturdy winter boots\, and bring your X-country skis or snowshoes (optional) if there’s snow! \nREGISTER HERE \nIs Blake Sanctuary too far for you? Do you have your own favorite place? Take a walk at your own Tug Hill location and share your photos with us on our Facebook page.
