SUMMARY:Winter Owls and Twilight Exploration
DESCRIPTION:Come along on a twilight exploration with quiet feet and ears perked at the Joseph A. Blake Wildlife Sanctuary\, 31241 Middle Rd.\, Watertown\, on Saturday\, January 17th! While looking and listening for owls\, we’ll also scan for animal signs and learn about what special ways animals navigate at night. Registration is required. There is no charge for attendance or parking. \nWe’ll meet at 4:30 pm in the parking lot to gather and prepare for a leisurely walk through the forest. Short activities at stops along the way will help us learn about how owls and other animals thrive in low to no light. \nEveryone should dress for the weather and wear sturdy walking shoes or boots. Bring along a flashlight\, as it may be quite dark by the time we return to the parking lot.
