SUMMARY:Blake Sanctuary Owl Prowl and Twilight Walk
DESCRIPTION:Please note: The date for this outing has been changed from Saturday\, April 5th to SATURDAY\, APRIL 19th due to the overly soggy weather forecast! \nCome and enjoy a twilight walk and owl prowl in the woods with THTLT on Saturday\, April 19th\, 7:00 – 8:30 pm at the Joseph A. Blake Wildlife Sanctuary (31241 Middle Road\, Watertown\, NY)\, located it the Town of Rutland. Learn about the ways animals are adapted to a low-light lifestyle\, look for all types of animal tracks and signs\, and look and listen for owls! \nThis is the fourth and final owl prowl in our 2025 series! \nOur outing will begin in the parking lot with brief introductions. Then we’ll take a walk on the woods trails looking and to listening for owls and other animals/animal signs. \nBring along a flashlight or headlamp\, dress for the weather\, and wear sturdy waterproof boots or shoes.
