This summer we are thanking our Donors and Volunteers with a Thank You Picnic along the Independence River. We appreciate all that you do. We’re so excited to thank you for your support, and for making land protection possible in our beloved Tug Hill. Join us on Saturday, July 22nd from 10 am – 2 pm along the Independence River for a fun and relaxing day.
This is a great opportunity to hike, swim, and picnic on one of our protected properties, located in the town of Greig in Lewis County. We’ll provide the lunch – you just need to bring a swim suit and towel. Bring your family – the more the merrier. The day will consist of a short one-mile hike to the river for picnicking and swimming or wading in the water. A fun bubble making activity will be provided for kids. This location is especially great for families with children.
Not a donor yet? No problem. Feel free to join our efforts with a contribution, we’d love to have you on our team. Special thanks to Mercere’s Dairy in Boonville for generously donating ice cream, and The Mustard Seed in Watertown for donating their delicious cookies to this event.
For directions to the meeting location and to RSVP, please contact Lianna at (315) 779-2239 or email firstname.lastname@example.org. All participants are encouraged to bring appropriate walking/light hiking shoes, water shoes, bug spray, sunscreen, swimsuits, etc.
