• Tug Hill:  A Four Season Guide to The Natural Side - focuses on the special natural history features and habitats of the Tug Hill region.  Each chapter highlights a Tug Hill habitat, identifying its primary characteristics and inhabitants, while infusing local lore, language and cultural history as it pertains to the natural landscape.  Its 176 pages of text are illustrated with over 64 full-color plates containing original watercolor illustrations by Bob McNamara of Cleveland, New York.  Published by North Country Books, Inc., Utica, NY and THTLT, 1999 First Ed. 262 pages

• The Tug Hill Classroom - The Tug Hill Classroom Series is a collection of units with learning modules that provide activities and field trips for children interested in all aspects of conservation.  Unit #1 is called “Geology Explorations” and is written for grades 4-8.  Unit #2 is called “Tug Hill Wildlife” and consists of five modules: mammals, birds, fish, herps (reptiles/amphibians), and invertebrates. In addition, customized educational presentations and natural history field trips for all ages take place year-round.  Topics include wildlife and forest ecology and management, water quality, and land conservation.  The Tug Hill Classroom Series enables educators to incorporate natural and cultural history into their classrooms and programs and facilitate a greater understanding of the Tug Hill region for all residents, which in turn will foster a greater sense of community pride, ownership and responsible land stewardship.
• Tug Hill Teacher Resources Directory - publication created for teachers and other educators with listing of field trip locations throughout Tug Hill and experts and others willing to come to the classroom to deliver special programs about Tug Hill.  Paper, 54 pages.  Rev 2006.
