Enjoy an easy hike with Tug Hill Tomorrow Land Trust (THTLT) before the snow begins to fly. Join us on Saturday, November 4th from 10 am – 2 pm as we explore the Glasier Trail and Douglas L. Murray Agricultural Heritage Trail at the Development Authority of the North Country (DANC). We invite you to join us for a breath of fresh air during this 2-3 mile trek with your friends and family.
Dave Larrabee will be our trip leader, and he brings a wealth of knowledge about the local area to this hike. Larrabee was a NYS forest ranger for the majority of his career and is a Tug Hill enthusiast. Bundle up for the cooler weather, and join in on the fun of hiking with friends new and old. We’ll warm up with hot cocoa and cookies provided by the Land Trust at the end of the hike.
Plan on wearing sturdy boots, and wearing plenty of warm layers. Please pack a brown bag lunch and water. This family friendly hike is free and open to the community.
We will be meeting at the DANC nature trail parking area at 10 am. For those of you using a GPS the address is 23400 NY-177, Rodman, NY 13682. Look for a lean-to and THTLT sandwich board on the road.
RSVPs are encouraged to keep track of how many people will be attending. Please RSVP by contacting Community Programs Manager Lianna Lee at 315.779.2239 or email firstname.lastname@example.org.
