August Tug Hill Trail Volunteer Day

Map with DirectionsYou’re invited to help build the  Tug Hill Traverse Trail on Sunday, August 20th from 10 AM to 4 PM.

Currently, the proposed 20-mile trail has been flagged and minimal work has been done around the entrance. Plan to meet at the end of the G&W road (north end) on Friday. Please see the map above for more detailed driving directions. The Sunday work day meeting location will be announced shortly.

Bring lopping shears, hand saws, clippers, (please label your tools), gloves, sturdy footwear, and lunch. We will work our way along the flagged trail route, trimming, side cutting, and removing downed trees and branches for 3-4 hours.

Tug Hill Traverse RouteTo RSVP: Please email trip leader, Bob McNamara, at artofwild@aol.com if you will be attending, and for more detailed driving directions. In the event of bad weather he will contact you to let you know if either work day has been postponed.
