Natalie has lived in the Town of Montague in Lewis County with her husband, Jan for over 35 years. They’ve made their home, and raised their daughter Kayla, on property that was farmed by his grandparents since the early 1900’s. Natalie enjoys the wildlife, woods and water that their property offers. They spend time maintaining the natural character of the land and utilizing it for recreational enjoyment. She x-country skis, hikes, gardens and observes wildlife.

Natalie has always worked in non-profit organizations in upstate and northern NY, holding management positions that require her to maintain knowledge of New York State and Federal regulatory and licensing requirements, and stay in tune with compliance requirements of non-profit organizations.

She is an advocate for individuals with disabilities serving as a Panel Member on the NY State Justice Center Surrogate Decision Making Committee and a local Informed Consent Committee that aids individuals in accessing necessary health and behavioral services.

In the past, she has served on the Town of Montague, Town Board and the Board of Assessment and Review and as an Election Inspector. She was an active parent in Lewis County 4 – H for all of Kayla’s school years.
